2025 FGPC SUP Workshop

FGPC is pleased to offer a SUP workshop. The sessions are 2 hours in length.
This workshop will be offered on May 18 as follows:
- 11am to 1pm
- 1:30pm to 3:30pm
Instructor: Alison Morham
The following topics will be covered:
- Board design
- Parts of board
- Basic Shape of boards and effect on water
- Kinds of, Choosing and holding a paddle
- Clothing choice
- Basic Safety equipment
- Lifting and carrying a board
- Mounting a board at a beach and dock
- Remounting the board
- Falling off safely
- Injury prevention
- Paddling Prone, kneeling, Standing up
Fee: $75 for a 2 hour workshop
